1. Train consistently: Make a schedule and stick to it. Consistency is key to making progress in any sport, including powerlifting.
2. Focus on the big three lifts: The squat, bench press, and deadlift need to be prioritized in your training if you want to see results
3. Vary your training: To avoid plateaus and keep making progress, make sure to vary your training by using different rep ranges, exercise variations, and intensities.
4. Get enough rest and recovery: Recovery is just as important as training. Make sure to get enough sleep and eat a balanced diet to support your training and recovery.
5. Don't be afraid to ask for help: If you're having trouble with a lift or just need some guidance, don't be afraid to ask for us help.

Here are some tips to help you improve your deadlift:
1. Use a belt: A lifting belt can be a useful tool in powerlifting as it can help you maintain proper form and lift heavier weights. The belt works by providing support to your lower back, which can help you maintain a neutral spine position and reduce the risk of injury.
2. Grip the bar properly: Your grip on the bar can greatly affect your deadlift. Make sure to grip the bar with your palms facing down and your hands just outside your shins for conventional or in line with your hips for sumo.
3. Engage your core: Make sure to keep your core tight and engaged throughout the entire lift. This will help you maintain a stable base and transfer more force to the bar.
4. Keep your shoulders back: As you lift the bar, make sure to keep your shoulders back and your chest up. This will help you maintain a more upright posture and prevent you from rounding your back.
