A massive shout-out from Cecilia!
Thank you to the person who organised the whole event, all on her own.
Gracie, thank you for stepping up and carrying the workload behind the scenes for our community event.
Grace spent endless hours solo setting everything up, creating logos for people, sourcing sponsorship and planning events to suit specific age groups while also coordinating the entertainment, catering for the crowd, riders and their parents, and keeping everything flowing smoothly (and yes, with great music choices during the competition, too)
When I originally thought that last year would be the last time we held the event, Grace kindly offered to take on the entire event by herself to make sure it would continue for the kids.
We’ll absolutely make a separate thank-you post for sponsors and everyone who supported the event. But for now it is a massive shout-out to Gracie because you didn’t just organise a well run event, you created a day all the kids and their families will have fond memories of.
