For a parent, Full-Time Training can feel like a big leap, especially when your dancer is still discovering who they are and where dance might take them.

But there isn’t one moment when every dancer suddenly becomes “ready.”
Every dancer is on their own journey. For Clare and Victor, it’s about meeting them where they are, understanding what they need, and helping them discover what they’re capable of.

Chloe began with BTQ Company, looking forward to Sundays each week and seeing the difference that time in the studio was making.

When Full-Time Training was announced, she knew she wanted to audition.

Now, she’s building on that beginning, growing in technique, artistry and confidence, surrounded by people who encourage her along the way.

There is something so special about seeing the dancers take to the floor and perform in front of the people who mean the most to them. Being able to share their hard work, their passion and a little piece of themselves with friends and family is such a unique opportunity, and our Solos Evening was a beautiful celebration of just that.

We are so incredibly proud of every dancer who performed, and so grateful to everyone who joined us to cheer them on, celebrate their work and make the evening so memorable.

For Katie, BTQ Full-Time means pursuing her dance training while continuing Year 12 alongside it.
With dedicated study periods built into each day, she’s found a rhythm that allows her to stay on top of her schoolwork while continuing to challenge herself as a dancer.
And along the way? Growing in confidence, exploring different classes and teachers, and making friendships and memories she’ll always cherish.

For Clare and Victor, it’s about sharing what they’ve learned from their own careers and giving dancers the knowledge, experiences and confidence to discover where theirs might take them.

From Studio to Stage.

At BTQ Training, Full-Time dancers experience the complete journey; from daily classes and rehearsals through to performing in Ballet Theatre Queensland's mainstage productions.

In the recent season of Snow White, Erica stepped into the role of The Crone, bringing her training to life alongside professional artists, choreographers and creative teams in a professional production.

As part of the 16+ Full-Time Program, Erica is completing an Advanced Diploma of Elite Performance.
