The Brisbane Bands Cricket Association is a social cricket competition based in South East Queensland catering for musicians, hospitality rats, music enthusiasts and lovers of cricket. Each year, teams compete for the least prestigious silverware in world cricket, the Norm Buchanan Perpetual Trophy. Every batsmen is welcomed to the crease with a round of applause and every fielder gets to send dow

n two overs of punishment. In true social cricket fashion, a mandatory BBQ is enforced at each luncheon interval and a few amber liquids are never too far away.
