Gladstone Easter Weekend
Firstly I would like to thank the people that make our program possible.
The Shadbolt group and family for their continued support, we are very proud to have ourselves aligned with an Australian engineering company of their reputation and presence across multiple leading industries.
Wayne and Brett Randall at Afco Shock Doctor for the setup expertise and tuning knowledge, their customer care is second to none.
Brad Hilder and the team from BHR fabrications for their continued support for all chassis related queries and components.
Darren and Rebecca Simpson from Two Wheel Tyres, who have supported our family’s racing
endeavours completely since the beginning.
To my fellow competitors Anthony and Libby Vanderreyden as well as the team at Catchy Motorsports, our ability to compete on the weekend would’ve been next to impossible without your support, input and willingness to provide spares to get us back on track.
Lastly but not least my Crew. Dad the team owner for providing us the opportunity to compete in Sprint Car racing, your commitment to building this car and program in spite of the greatest of setbacks is truly inspiring.
My Crew Chief Jacob Coutts, the level of commitment, perseverance, thirst for knowledge and unwavering confidence in us as a team is incredible.
Brock Swannie on your first weekend in a racing team of any calibre was an amazing show of tenacity, learning ability and dedication.
Over the Easter long weekend the team at Coutts Motorsport made the journey to Gladstone to compete in the Harbour City Classic at McCosker Gladstone Speedway for our second race meeting in the 360/LS Sprint Car category.
It was a character building weekend for both team and driver, experiencing the highs and lows of Speedway competition whilst cutting our teeth with new formats and challenges. The experience gained was invaluable, with the entire team feeling vastly more confident at the conclusion of the weekend.
