Jason Guest's 2015 Smiddy Challenge This is my page to document the lead up training and actual taking part in the 2015 Bottlemart Smiddy Challenge - to help raise funds for cancer research.

I have committed to the 2015 Bottlemart Smiddy Challenge. I will be taking part in a gruelling eight day, 1600km adventure that will see me cycle from Brisbane to Townsville — all to help fund a cure for cancer. Why am I taking on this incredible journey? Too many good people have fallen and continue to fall to cancer! Did you know that 1 in 2 Australian men and 1 in 3 Australian women will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85. I know too many people who have battled this dreadful disease and lost; and thankfully there have been a few who are now in remission. This is my small way to remember my friends and help raise funds. As part of the Smiling for Smiddy peloton I will be using my passion for cycling to raise money to fight this devastating disease. More than $5 million has been raised since 2006 but there is still more to do and I need your help to do it. Please dig deep for this important cause.
