I had a coaching session with a Developer client yesterday.

And coincidentally, today I had a Facebook memory pop up of their testimonial I shared one year ago.

How do you rejuvenate each week?

In goal-driven environments, it’s easy to overlook the importance of taking care of our physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.

Yet the quality of our energy and inner state directly impacts the quality of our decisions, our relationships, and ultimately our results.

One of my core beliefs is:

“The quality of our inner world determines our external results.”

Being intentional about how we restore and maintain our energy isn’t a luxury - it’s essential.

When we take care of our internal state, we tend to experience:

• Greater clarity in decision making
• Stronger resilience when challenges arise
• Better relationships with ourselves and others
• And a greater capacity to pursue meaningful goals

One of my favourite ways to reset is walking in the forest.

And it’s a bonus when I see an arrow on the track - it means a koala was spotted in the tree nearby. 🐨

Personal power & self leadership are the core attributes that I support my clients to develop.

To be a high performer & achieve sustainable results, you need to become the person who can handle the responsibility, the challenges & the rewards that your journey to success brings.

Until you can handle that, you will always be looking for a way to have less problems.

The better you are at solving problems rather than avoiding them, the more success you will achieve.

You will be tested constantly to see if you really want what you say you do - and if you’re willing to do what it takes.

Taking responsibility and becoming a professional problem solver is part of the territory.

Here is an example of a professional problem solver who truely embodies self leadership & personal growth. I was working with this client during the earlier stages of this project. Can you imagine the decisions that need to be made & the challenges dealt with to achieve this project milestone?

I’ve been in the property education & personal development space for the past 20 years. And an observation I have is that people are willing to pay for information yet are resistant to pay for the support to help them implement.

Many people will pay, $5K, $10K, $25K even $50K to learn strategies to make money that they don’t implement. Not all strategies are right for you. BUT if you are someone who does course after course & still isn’t moving forward. It’s not the lack of information that is the problem, it’s YOU.

You need to work through what is holding you back from applying what you know. Uncover what is the real reason for your procrastination, analysis paralysis, self sabotage, & indecision.

I know it’s You because I’ve observed it, coached it, & experienced it personally.

I worked in a business that provided both mentoring & life coaching. When I asked clients why they joined this program specifically, it was because along with the education & mentoring - they had access to an experienced life coach.

Most had already done numerous property mentoring programs & failed to implement.

Most people don’t need more information. They need support to work through the things that are holding them back from taking action - things like their fears, lack of confidence, limiting beliefs, past experiences, money blocks..

Adaptability.

Conditions are always changing, markets are always moving, nothing stays the same in property.

Knowing this helps to set expectations.

Every deal is different.

I presented a group coaching call to the members of Renovate and Real Estate last night.

The topic: Managing Uncertainty - Ways to move forward despite the uncertainty around us.

I spoke about managing ourselves and the way we respond to events that we have no control over.

Having been in the property space for 25 years, one thing I know for sure is… opportunities always arise during difficult times.

When many are pulling back, waiting to see how things unfold, opportunities arise for those who are committed.

Understand your risk profile.

Know what you need for your “Sleep at Night Factor”.

And take action accordingly.

People talk about the importance of managing your mindset - especially if you’re an active investor, renovator or developer.

What that means is - when there is economic uncertainty and global instability, we need be looking at how we manage ourselves - and the things that we CAN control.

The thoughts we are thinking, what we choose to focus on, the information we are taking onboard and what we do next.

There will always be uncertainty, some times more extreme than other times, but.. if you truely want to move forward and keep achieving results, you need lean in and be aware of what you’re focusing on and master your own mindset.
