TUESDAY NIGHT at Suzuka should’ve been a complete disaster. 🌧️🏁

Torrential rain.
Standing water everywhere.
GR86s dancing around like shopping trolleys on ice.

But somehow… the racing was actually insanely clean.

Drivers gave each other room, picked their moments, and put on one of the best wet-weather displays we’ve had at Southern Cross Sim Racing. There were still saves, slides and a few “oh sh*t” moments, but considering the conditions, the respect and racecraft on display was top tier.

Suzuka in the wet is no joke either, even the wider iRacing community calls wet GR86 racing brutal, with drivers talking about hydroplaning, compression lock spins and surviving rather than pushing flat out.

Instead of carnage, Tuesday night delivered proper hard racing in some absolutely cooked conditions.

🌧️ SOUTHERN CROSS SIM RACING – GR86 NIGHT AT SUZUKA 🌧️
Tonight we throw the GR86s into the deep end at Suzuka Circuit and we’re starting WET.
No hiding.
No excuses.
Just 20/30 chaos under lights with reduced grip, standing water, sketchy braking zones and drivers praying the rear tyres stay behind them through the Esses.
This is the kind of night where smooth inputs beat raw aggression.
One tiny mistake and you’ll be backwards watching half the field disappear into the spray.

SCSR GR86 ENDURANCE – SEBRING TOMORROW

Tomorrow night we hit Sebring International Raceway for our first endurance round of the season — longer race, bigger strategy, and a real test of who can stay clean and consistent when it counts.

This is where it steps up.
Fuel, tyres, patience… it all matters now.

⚠️ PRACTICE TONIGHT – 6PM–9PM (AEST)
Get yourself dialled in, learn the bumps, and lock in.

We’ll also be rolling out our ANZAC-themed Safety Car livery — a small tribute that’ll be leading the field when called upon. Race it hard, race it respectful.

🎨 Quick reminder: run your ANZAC-themed liveries — Race Control will pick a Best Dressed on the night, with a little gift up for grabs.

Get prepped, be on time, and be ready for a proper endurance battle.
