Outback Birdies is looking for a new crew member!
We’re chasing someone reliable, confident and good with people to join us running our mobile golf simulator at events around South East Queensland.
This isn’t your standard 9–5.
One weekend you might be setting up at a country show, the next you’re running a longest-drive comp at a corporate event, golf day or festival.
The job involves:
* Setting up and packing down the Outback Birdies simulator
* Running the simulator during events
* Having a yarn with customers and keeping things moving
* Helping with competitions, activations and promotions
* Loading/unloading and looking after our equipment
* Travelling to different events and locations
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is friendly, confident and comfortable talking to anyone
* Is reliable and can work independently
* Doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty with setup and pack-down
* Is available for weekend and occasional evening work
* Has a current driver licence
* Can represent Outback Birdies professionally while still having a bit of fun
Golf knowledge is a bonus — but you definitely don’t need to be a scratch golfer.
This would suit someone looking for flexible/casual work who enjoys events, sport and meeting people.
📍 Based in SE QLD with travel to events
💰 Casual position – pay dependent on experience and responsibilities
