Deaf Basketball Queensland wants to connect with the Deaf Community.
With the Australia Deaf Games coming up, we want to find ways to hear what the Community would love from DBQ.
We are open to ideas including clinics for young ones, training sessions, open scrimmage and so on.
There are no wrong ideas but we may request some time to plan the big ideas.

𝐔𝟐𝟏 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 – 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧! ⛹️‍♀️

Australia’s Deaf/Hard of Hearing Men’s (Dingoes) and Women’s (Ringtails) teams are looking for athletes to trial and join them on the road to the 2026 U21 World Deaf Basketball Championships in Lublin, Poland, from June 5–13, 2026. 🏀

Deaf Basketball Queensland coach and former Australian Goannas player, Shane Crick, is supporting the teams and encouraging eligible athletes to express their interest.

Proud of our 3 Queensland players repping Deaf Basketball Queensland. The Goannas finished 8th in the Tournament which is their highest achievement in Deaflympics level since 2005!
