WASJA Show Jump on Saturday was SO much fun!!

After a naughty refusal in the 90cm, Forrest pulled this out in the 100cm for 4th place!

First time at Moora on the weekend, got a bit wet!! 🤣🤣

No result on the scoreboard which has been the case most of the season, but every single time I get on my boy, I figure him out just a little bit more.

He's quite anxious when we go out and its been a huge learning curve for me to learn how to manage that.

His napping was much improved this weekend and getting into the xc start box was much easier!

We are building the most incredible bond. He's starting to really trust me and its making all the difference.

I was super happy with our dressage test. It was probably the most relaxed I've seen him in a test!

Xc was a mixed bag, eliminated after 4 refusals but we know what we need to work on there.

This horse is so talented. Can't wait till we piece all 3 phases together. In the meantime, we continue the grind, together 💕

So, it's a bit late, but here's my WAYER wrap up!!

Tough weekend but again, lots of learnings!

Drs.. had a great warm-up with no shys or bucks so was feeling good heading into my test!
Forrest pulled out a few pigroots during my test, and didn't want to go forward or get off my leg! The score definitely reflected that! 36.9 penalties.
SJ was great and definitely our best phase. Clear round with a 1 sec time penalty for being too slow! 🤣🤣
More teething problems on XC. I was happy to make it to jump 6 this time!!! But 3 refusals at this jump had us eliminated!
Overall though, I'm happy with the bond and trust we are developing as a partnership. I know it will all come together soon!!
Also, massive shout out to Sunè & for the most thoughtful gift!! They were at Capel when I was having a hard time in XC with Forrest and were proud of my never give up attitude! They surprised me with these amazing breeches!! 😱
Best pair I've worn in a long time!! So thankful and very humbled!! Do yourself a favour and grab a pair, you wont be disappointed!! 💙🦄

Mr Gonzo went back home to today so she can find him his new home for next year.

He taught me so much and I'm going to miss him more then words!

Everyone, meet Forrest.! 💕

As some of you already know, Mr Gonz is going into semi retirement next year, so I've been on the lookout for a new ride for the last few months.

I feel like I've won lotto!!!

This beautiful boy belonged to the gorgeous Phoebe Tucker who purchased him OTT in 2013.

She had amazing success with him, taking him up the grades and competed in Equestrian in the Park in 2016 and 2018!

He is a **2 Star eventer, he's beautiful, and the best bit? He's now mine 💕

Thankyou for having the faith in me to give your beautiful boy a new home Phoebe!! I promise to look after him and give him a new lease on life!!

Thankyou to my coach Tracey for all your help and support, and of course my parents!

I am SO excited, and cannot wait to see what we can achieve together next year and beyond 💕
