Hi Nuna Families
Week 2 of competition at Box Hill Athletics track tomorrow 19th September . Hagenauer Reserve Barwon St Box Hill North.
*Parental assistance required – please sign up on the duty roster to assist with the events - someone will be able to show you what you need to do. We need all the help we can get as we kick off the season. Last week we did not have enough parent volunteers. This week we will need to cancel events if we don't have the assistance we need to run the meet.
Schedule as per below:
12.30pm Patch collection and uniform sales open – we need some returning parents to assist with this duty. Eftpos or cash accepted
1.15pm Sharp - Javelin for U11-U17 only – please be on time or you are unable to compete - collect your patch before 1pm
U11 please be early for javelin
2.00pm Athlete Warm up & Parent meeting – parents & athletes please proceed to the seated grandstand area for a briefing
2.15 Meet start

*All athlete events are loaded into Results HQ - please sign up for a results HQ account if you haven’t as yet. the program is also visible in Results HQ and team app

*Please wear your Nunawading uniform - club T-shirt/ crop top or singlet and black bottoms (black shorts/ bike pants or leggings) we will have uniforms and black shorts on sale tomorrow.
*Parents must be present at all times – no drop off permitted
*BBQ and Canteen will be operating – we need to have parent volunteers early. Eftpos or cash accepted
*No spectators inside the fence on the track, or on the infield grassed area for safety reasons
*No dogs permitted under any circumstances inside the facility - this is as per the council & an LA Vic requirement
The committee needs parent help as we are ALL volunteers, to ensure we can run the weekly competitions for our kids.
Bring a hat , plenty of water and sunscreen
