Morning practice.

No matter where you are, you are with your thoughts and your thoughts are with you.

Martial arts practice gives us a way to observe thought without self judgement.

The currents, the energy of thought quiets like a forceful river flowing into a lake.

Have a beautiful day sexy souls xx 💋✨🤎

Am I speaking to the right person?
You feel uncertain about the future. You want to make changes yet you don’t know how or where to begin.
You want to change career yet you’re afraid you might lose everything you’ve built.
You secretly have restless nights and don’t tell anyone about your anxiety because you don’t want to appear weak.
You’ve realized therapy has become the most comfortable path to stay where you’re and not change.

If this is you, maybe you’ve gotta start having different conversations, I offer this space for individuals just like you who are working or running a business with too many hands on too many and not enough me time.

I look forward to meeting you.
Much love,
Tamar

The Work of Shifting Reality That Nobody Sees

I’ve been thinking about my post from yesterday. I’d like to continue to share and unpack this theme. Self nurturing and loving our lives has become so fragmented…

There comes a moment in life where self nurturing stops looking like candles, bubble baths, or escaping the world for a weekend…

and starts looking like honesty.

Real honesty.

The kind where you begin noticing how often you abandon yourself in small invisible ways.

Rushing when your body is asking you to slow down.
Saying yes when your spirit feels heavy.
Overthinking instead of breathing.
Filling every silent space because stillness feels unfamiliar.

For the uninitiated, self nurturing can almost feel uncomfortable at first.

Not because it is wrong or a waste of time…
but because many people were taught how to perform, survive, achieve, and carry the weight of the world…

without ever being taught how to gently return home to themselves.

Sometimes self nurturing looks like making a warm meal instead of skipping dinner.
Sometimes it looks like turning your phone off an hour earlier.
Sometimes it looks like sitting in silence long enough to hear your own thoughts again.
Sometimes it looks like not forcing an answer today.
Sometimes it looks like tears.
Sometimes it looks like rest without guilt.

And sometimes…
it simply looks like no longer treating yourself like a machine that only deserves love once everything is complete.

The beautiful thing is:
the nervous system responds to gentleness.

The heart responds to presence.

And the version of you that has been carrying so much for so long…
responds to being seen.

Not fixed.
Not rushed.
Not pushed.

Seen.

Maybe that is where true healing begins.

Not in becoming someone else…
but in learning how to care for the person you already are.

Love you x♥️

My beautiful souls,
I hope you are well.

It’s been sometime since I wrote my notes for the month, so here’s my May notes. 📝

What I love profoundly about my work is that each day, I encounter new questions to ask. And what I notice is that we are so busy responding to life that we rarely ask ourselves deep growth questions.

I met someone the other day who didn’t know what a life coach was but they asked questions to understand.

Throughout my career one of the most tangible examples I can give you as you’re probably wondering what she mean by asking questions? What kind of questions?

In the world of personal development we ask ourselves questions when challenges present, a break up, a loss G-d forbid, when you’re stuck between a rock and a hard place or just simply how to connect with the inner voice;

To give you a clear example, I had a client who came in to see me who carried tremendous guilt about her past. And couldn’t get past the heaviness and to be most direct with them I asked: just ask yourself how would you feel if you didn’t feel this guilt you’ve carried for so long?

They paused and said: “free”

Often we are so immersed in the forest that cannot see the trees around us showing us a way out.

This is why we must become curious when challenged, not ponder on the problem itself for too long.

This reminds me of the book I am reading by Viktor Frankl, Yes To Life.

Viktor Frankl, lived inside some of the most atrocious concentration camps, one of them being Auschwitz, where he was able to serve as a psychiatrist in the camps. He lived and experienced life both as the observer of terror witnessing the pain, the fear, the struggle, the collective death of the mind and the spirit while still alive before souls were sent into gas chambers. And he questioned life intelligently to serve in the survival of the spirits of those whom were close to death yet survived and those who were departing.

My point is, while you are alive, LIVE. Question your choices, your happiness, your sadness robbing you of fulfilment you were meant to receive.

Love you, 🌹🤎
