Our Vice President, Shane Arnold, has chosen to step down from his position for 2026. We can’t thank him enough for the years he has been with the club.

“My time coaching at the Boronia Buffaloes was a massive part of my life and played a big role in shaping who I am today. I spent 10 years coaching at the club, and during that time I also served as Vice President, helping support the club however I could, both on and off the court.

One of the biggest highlights was getting to coach some incredible athletes, but just as importantly, incredible people. The players I coached taught me as much as I taught them. Their commitment, resilience, and passion pushed me to grow not only as a coach, but as a person. They challenged me and kept me grounded.

Overall, my time at the Boronia Buffaloes was about a lot more than just basketball. It was about learning, growing, and building real connections with people. The experiences and relationships from those years had a big impact on me, and it’s something I’ll always look back on with a lot of pride”

Boronia Buffaloes – 2026 Committee Announcement

We’re proud to announce the 2026 Boronia Buffaloes Committee and extend a big welcome to our new members as well as thank those members who have chosen to step down.

President: Craig Osborne has been re-elected.

Vice President: Newly elected Shenna Langenbach will replace Shane Arnold who has chosen to stand down from the committee.

Secretary: Nicole Harris has been re-elected.

A warm welcome to our NEW Committee Members:

Amy Reaper – As our newly formed Girls Co-ordinator U8–U23

Thank you to Shane Arnold for his fantastic contribution as Vice President and Coaches Co-Ordinator. Shane will be moving on from the Buffaloes as he takes up new roles in other basketball districts.

A heartfelt thank you to Alissa Peters, who has stepped down after making a wonderful contribution to the committee. We appreciate everything you’ve done for the Buffaloes!

This was the most applications to the Buffalo Committee in a long time and is a testament to the growing community and desire to see the club succeed!
