The State Series team, GESA and the Gravity Girls are hosting a Super Downduro event - and it’s a perfect progression step for First Descent riders!

What is a Super Downduro?:
👉 Downduro = Gravity Enduro with shuttles (less pedalling, more riding)
👉 Super = You can ride stages multiple times - your best run counts

For developing First Descent riders, there are Novice categories to enter. These are all-ages and the tracks are set at a First Descent technical difficulty level. This is a great opportunity to try a different racing discipline, on tracks you are more confident racing.

For our more experienced and confident First Descent riders, you can enter your normal age-based category and take on more technical and challenging stages.

This event isn’t part of the First Descent Series, so no FDS point are on offer if you choose to enter. We are providing a pathway for progression, experience and giving another gravity-discipline a go in a low-pressure format.

If you’ve been thinking about stepping things up… this is your chance!

We’ve got a big field tomorrow with lots of first-time racers, so please keep practice respectful and safe for everyone.

We Need a Few Helpers for Round 1 🙌

First Descent Round 1 is officially sold out, which means it’s shaping up to be an awesome day of racing.

To make the event run smoothly, we need a few helpers to jump into some simple roles during the day.

The most important role we need to fill is course marshals.

Marshals are positioned along the track during practice and racing to help keep riders safe and keep the event running smoothly.

These positions must be filled before Sunday so the event can start on time.

When marshal roles aren’t filled, practice gets shortened while we wait, which isn’t ideal for anyone.

The good news is helping out comes with a few perks:

Most roles are short and simple, and it’s a great way to support the riders and the club.
