What a fantastic atmosphere at Karinya Clubhouse yesterday as members, families and friends came together to cheer on the Socceroos in their World Cup opener! 🇦🇺⚽💚💛

With a great crowd, plenty of green and gold, delicious BBQ, and the bar open, it was wonderful to see our club community enjoying the match together and celebrating Australia’s impressive 2-0 victory over Turkey.

The kids also made the most of a welcome break in the weather, taking advantage of the sunshine with a half-time kick-about on the pitch – proving there’s never a bad time for football!

A huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who helped set up, run the BBQ, serve behind the bar, and make the day such a success. Events like these wouldn’t be possible without your support.

We’re now looking forward to Australia’s next World Cup clash against the USA and will be cheering the Socceroos on from afar. Come on Australia! 💚💛

Another few Sundays of MiniRoos wrapped up! ⚽

Watching our players grow in confidence, develop new skills and enjoy their football week after week has been fantastic to see.

From first touches to great teamwork and plenty of smiles, every Sunday brings new achievements and moments to celebrate.

Well done to all of our MiniRoos players, coaches, volunteers and families for making each week such a success. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings! 💙🦁
