💚💙 A MESSAGE FROM THE BERWICK BASKETBALL CLUB COMMITTEE 💙💚

We would like to let our club community know that, following the upcoming AGM, Sue will be stepping down from her roles with Berwick Basketball Club.

Sue has dedicated a huge amount of time and effort to the club over the years, working behind the scenes to help keep everything running smoothly and supporting our players, families and wider club community.

Like all committee roles, these responsibilities are voluntary and require a significant amount of time, commitment and personal sacrifice. We are incredibly grateful for everything Sue has contributed to the club. ❤️💚

💙 NOW WE NEED YOU! 💚

As Sue and other current committee members prepare to step back, we urgently need new people to put their hands up and get involved.

Berwick Basketball Club doesn't run itself. Behind every team, every registration and every season is a group of volunteers giving up their own time to make it all happen.

We can't continue to grow and provide opportunities for our players without people willing to help. You don't need to know everything or take on the world — every contribution makes a difference, and you'll have a team around you to support you.

If your child plays for Berwick, this is your club too. Now is the time to get involved, bring your ideas and help shape its future.

Please consider nominating for a committee role at our upcoming AGM or reach out to us to find out how you can help.

Let's work together to keep Berwick Basketball Club strong for the next generation. 🏀💚💙

Thank you, Sue, for everything you have given to our club.

💚💙 A MESSAGE FROM THE BERWICK BASKETBALL CLUB COMMITTEE 💙💚

We want to let our club community know that, following the upcoming AGM, Matt will be stepping down as President of Berwick Basketball Club.

This has been a very difficult decision. While Matt had previously planned to continue for another year, he has decided that now is the right time to step aside and allow the club to move into its next chapter with fresh leadership, ideas and energy.

Being President is a volunteer position, and over the years Matt has made countless personal sacrifices to keep the club running — giving up nights, weekends, family time and personal time to deal with the many things that happen behind the scenes.

There have also been some difficult moments and personal criticism along the way, and after giving so much of himself to the club, Matt has decided it is time to look after himself as well.

This decision does not mean he has stopped caring about Berwick Basketball Club. Quite the opposite. He should be incredibly proud of what he has helped achieve and how much the club has grown. ❤️💚

We sincerely thank Matt for his commitment, time and everything he has given to the club.

💙 NOW WE NEED NEW PEOPLE TO STEP UP 💚

Matt won't be the only current committee member stepping back over the next few years. We need new members and parents to get involved, bring fresh ideas and help shape the future of our club.

If you've ever thought about putting your hand up, now is the time.

Thank you, Matt. ❤️💚
