Last Friday was the Hockey Central Vic League Presentation Evening.

We had a great turnout of Eaglehawk members to celebrate a great year (not swayed at all by Secret Gardens Catering - the legend himself Ado!)

We had a great number of members nominated for awards which is amazing to be recognised for.

With two of our lovely ladies taking out the titles of:

💙 Senior Country Championships Open Womens Most Valuable Player - Zoe Ross

💙 A Grade Women Best & Fairest - Hayley McNaughton

Congratulations for a great year HCV - we will see you all at our club Presentation - October 3rd at The Bendigo Club!

⚡️💙 Around the grounds - North West Lightning Hockey Under 14s - Footscray Pennant Grand Final.

Last night our Eaglehawk Members;
Scarlett, Gen, Mackenzie, Ava & Team Manager Narelle for the girls,
Seb, & Coach Dan for the boys;

as part of the U14s NWL squad played their Grand Final at Footscray. 🏆

The boys came down to shoot-outs in the end!

🥇 The U14s Girls came home with the Gold!
🥈 Whilst the U14s Boys came home with a Silver!

An amazing feat for both junior representative teams.

The Bendigo Senior Secondary College (BSSC) Lions competed in the School Sport Victoria (SSV) Senior Boys Hockey State Championships on Friday 21st August at the Footscray Hockey Club.

Great job from our Eaglehawk Members once again taking part in other amazing sporting opportunities through their school!

🌟 Our Under 14's played their hearts out tonight in the Preliminary - however it was not the result we hoped for.

Paul, Barbie and Callum coached this team to great victory through the season. Thank you to our amazing coaches!

And well done to the kids for a hard fought out match, parents and families for the support!

This week is FINALS TIME!
Our Under 14s play tonight at 6pm - come down and support them, we dont mind if you've never made a game and jump on now in Finals! All the support counts!

Seniors Sunday - with 3/4 teams in Finals this year - starting from 10am.

🍨🎉🥳🥧🌭 Thursday night we had our 'End of Season' celebrations for our Juniors ahead of their finals campaign.

A great session of fun games from the coaches before an amazing spread in the clubrooms!

Thanks to those who helped with coaching the fun session and then those who served the hungry kids (and adults!), it was organised perfection!

Huge shoutout to our Treasurer Jess Burleigh for organising the catering spread, so many selections and no complaints!

🏆 Our Under 14s play their Preliminary Final tomorrow night - Monday 24th at 6pm.
Come down and support them!

🌎🏑 - Around the Grounds SENIOR GIRLS HOCKEY - SSV STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS - Footscray

The Bendigo Senior Secondary College (BSSC) Lions competed in the School Sport Victoria (SSV) Senior Girls Hockey State Championships on Tuesday 18th August at the Footscray Hockey Club.

Our Zoe's were part of this team - Zoe Ross & Zoe Taylor and Coached by Dan Gibbons.

The girls had a draw, loss & win for the day with Zoe Ross finding the back of the net.

The team finished second in their pool which is a great effort. A huge thank you to Dan Gibbons for coaching.
