No Saturday games at home this week as the few home games we had are now under the lights tomorrow night. Helpers won’t be needed this week team but feel free to offer a hand if you would like to get down around 4-4:30pm and set up the oval. Best of luck to all teams! Up the Sharks 🦈

Our U12WT superstar Remi Prowd had the incredible opportunity to attend the Newcastle Knights NRLW Season Launch at the Beach Hotel Merewether.

During the evening, Remi was fortunate enough to meet, chat with and get to know so many of the outstanding women proudly representing the Newcastle Knights in the 2026 season.

We hope Remi had a fantastic experience at the launch, and we look forward to the day she runs out to defend the kingdom herself 🦈

Congratulations to our former Sharks junior, Seth Pangas, on his selection in the Newcastle Knights U18s Development Squad.

Seth consistently displayed outstanding attitude, commitment, and work ethic during his time with the Sharks, so this recognition comes as no surprise. It’s fantastic to see his dedication rewarded at the next level.

We can only imagine how proud your family must be mate, no doubt your old coach Dal will be claiming a fair share of the credit!

Sharkies 🦈

After a couple of challenging weeks off due to the weather, it’s fantastic to be gearing up for a return to the field’s this weekend! fingers crossed conditions hold and we’re back into it at every scheduled game across the competition.

Please find the draw for this weekend below. In addition to Saturday’s fixtures, a few of our Sharkies will be backing up on Sunday across the grounds to make up on missed games.

A quick reminder,

Home teams – please ensure your volunteers are organised and ready to go.

Away teams – get out there, play hard, and most importantly enjoy yourselves & represent our club proudly.

Best of luck to all teams, especially those doubling up on Sunday. It’s great to have footy back, Its going to be a big weekend! 🦈🦈

Some Friday night training for our U12 Div4 team down at Fighting Arts Gym Belmont. From the coaches to the players, the commitment this year has been outstanding by all of our teams. We would also like to thank all of the local businesses that have opened their doors for our players over the past couple of weeks 💙💛 without you guys we would have some pretty upset Sharkies!

The footy may be cancelled this week 😔 but our Friday night Sharkies raffle at Jewells Tavern will still be in full swing tonight 🦈

Tickets on sale from 6pm, Drawn just after 7pm. We have plenty of premium meat trays available valued at $50 each, we have the joker draw for the lucky last number out and some other prizes along the way.

Grab your family and friends, Coaches/Managers grab your teams and come down for a great night and support the mighty Belmont North Sharks. Every cent raised goes back into the club and helps us provide more for the kids each season.

📢 Competition Update – Round 5 Postponed

Due to the significant rainfall received over the past week, a decision has been made to postpone Round 5 to Sunday, 5 July.

As a result, no matches will be played this weekend.

Please also note that existing Round 3 and Round 4 catch-up fixtures will be rescheduled accordingly. Updated draw information will be published online within the next 24 hours.

We appreciate everyone's understanding and cooperation as we prioritise player safety and field conditions.

Team, Round 5 home and away draw as well as round 4 catch up games for the teams that were washed out. If coaches and managers can communicate everything needed to know amongst your teams it would be greatly appreciated. Volunteers we appreciate you as always so thank you for getting in early and making the Sharks Home games happen! Away teams, rip in and represent the Sharks with pride. The weather is average but the ground is looking outstanding after giving it a rest this week. Fingers crossed everything goes to plan and we all get to watch our mighty Sharks play the game we all love this weekend. Let’s go Sharkies 🦈
