Camping Life Australia

Camping Life Australia Australian travel blog to encourage others to explore our Country. Welcome to Camping Life Australia!

We are Isaac and Alli, we have been travelling short and long term our whole adult life. We are adventurous, enjoy exploring nature and community by four-wheel driving, camping, hiking and other adventure sports. Here you'll find a space full of the things we love; Camping, Exploring and anything to do with Adventure. We love to share our experiences so that others can be inspired to do the same

, and provide the tools to be able to do it too. Whether it is a long overland trip or a small romantic staycation we are up for it.

We are so proud to be apart ACONS’s welcome here project. We understand that the camping world can, unfortunately, be unwelcoming to LGBTIQ people and we want to be apart of the change to welcome everyone in this space and be the best ally's we can be.

We have created a Camping Life Australia community for both new and experienced campers who want a safe and welcoming place to ask questions, share, discover, and grow together. Everyone is welcome here and we hope you will enjoy and are encouraged to get out there for the first time or the 10 000th time.

Never thought I’d wake up to this news.
The world has lost an incredible soul.
Dolly Parton was so much more than a singer or a legend. She used her voice, her success and her heart to make the world a better place. The world feels a little less bright without her.

Good food, a quiet stream and only one other person in sight. Pretty hard to beat those vibes

Why do you love camping?

There are so many reasons to want to go camping, it was so hard to pick just a few overarching reasons why. Quite moments with the sunset, gin in hand, Just enjoying the moment. No traffic and dust on the defender. Lazy mornings restarting the fire the night before. There is so much to love about being in nature.

We went to the Cotswolds expecting a beautiful countryside. We left with sore legs, full hearts and a new top hiking trail.
I fell in love with the honey-coloured cottages, rolling green hills, ancient trails, and importantly, the pub stops along the way.

The Cotswold Way reminded us that adventures don't always have to be extreme sports. Sometimes it can be as simple as a town to town hike that becomes an unforgettable experience.

This is a hike we'd recommend to anyone who enjoys slowing down, getting outdoors and has a love for history. Would you add the Cotswold Way to your travel bucket list?

Isaacs experience was more
disappointing than mine. It was a shame that people did not respect the first come first in and created a crowd crush. The locals where amazing at controlling it but they should not have to need to.

Another long weekend, an extra day to pack the car, chase a track, and disappear somewhere that doesn’t have phone service.

Just you, your person, and the kind of moments that don’t feel like a lot but are everything. A slow morning, a shared coffee, a sunset that lingers a little longer than usual, a meal over the fire…

Something about rolling into the weekend in the Defender just hits differently. the vibration of the engine, trails calling our name and nowhere we have to be. Just us and that quiet kind of freedom you can't quite explain, you have to experience to understand.

Would you rather this than a weekend in the city? Because we definitely would!
