Sharkies families,

As some of you may already know, our beautiful Jacob’s world and that of his family, changed suddenly on Thursday, 30 July.

While playing with his mates at school, Jacob experienced his first seizure. After being taken to the Emergency Department at Canberra Hospital and undergoing a CT scan, Leigh and Andreza received the heartbreaking news that Jacob had a sizeable brain tumour.

They are Sharks. They are teammates. They are coaches. They are friends. They are an important part of what makes our Sharkies family so special.

There are some families who are more than just part of a club. This family is our family.

Now, as Jacob and his family face an incredibly difficult road ahead, it’s our turn to stand beside them and show them just how much their Sharkies family is behind them.

Let’s wrap this beautiful family in all the love, strength and support our community can give.

A huge amount of work goes into getting our teams to this point, and it simply wouldn’t happen without the players, coaches, managers, league safe trainers, first aiders, volunteers, parents and supporters who give so much of their time throughout the year.

It really does take a small army to keep a season running, and the results below are a great reflection of the effort, commitment and support that has gone in across the entire club.

U15 GIRLS - 2026 GRAND FINAL WINNERS

What a season — undefeated! 🏆

Goulburn certainly made us work for the win today.

The girls played hard, defended well and stood tall when it mattered, working right to the end to get the win.

Charlie S saved tries at the back, while Sulli bashed them up front. Lacey, Maddie B and Charlotte controlled things well through the middle, and Naomi, Molly and Taylor ran hard and defended even harder.

Having a team as talented and committed as this makes our job as coaches so much easier.

We couldn’t be prouder of this group, what an achievement!
