This is what we arrived to this morning at Narira Sporting Ground.
Someone has driven onto the northern end of the oval and done “circle work” — tearing up the surface and leaving deep ruts across the field.
This isn’t harmless mucking around. This is serious damage. It has taken years of hard work to get this ground into a safe, usable condition for our community, and in a matter of minutes it’s been ripped up.
We are beyond disappointed. This ground is here for everyone — kids, families, local sport — and this kind of behaviour is not welcome here.
If you know who’s responsible, speak up. Send us a message, we have reported it. I know a couple of blokes that will be gutted about his.
Show some respect for the place and the people who live here who try so bloody hard to make it better for all of us.
