Yarrabilba parkrun

Yarrabilba parkrun A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 7am at Darlington Parklands. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

Yarrabilba parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am at the Yarrabilba Estate, approx 48km south west of Brisbane's CBD. parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5k timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. It offers an opportunity for all the local

community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the beautiful surrounds and get physically active at the same time. We want to encourage people to jog or
run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE!

Our PB Wall this week is looking pretty impressive, with 20 parkrunners chasing down a new time and amongst those, 4 of our juniors improved their time.
Make sure you have the parkrun App handy so you know what your PB is, and grab a PB Bell ringing video.

What a sparkling morning we had for event #594.
And to have 93 finishers come and join us to enjoy us for their 5k fix was fantastic.
We had 4 finishers able to call themselves parkrunners for the very first time, welcome to the parkrun universe.
16 parkrun tourists also came to try our course for the first time, welcome and hope you enjoyed it.
This time of year is perfect PB weather and trigger finger Mugsy clocked 20 PBers, if you were one of those enjoy the PB buzz and lookout for a couple bell ringing videos we have for you.
Of course all of this just doesn't happen by itself without the work of my wonderful vollie crew, so much fun with our finish line legends.

Just in case you were thinking of touristing to South Bank.

South Bank parkrun goes directly past the World Cup Live Site. The Socceroos are playing at 5am to about 7am this Saturday.

We have some plans in place to help accomodate this, however we don’t know how many spectators this game may bring to the area and the carpark.

Our team will be checking on the Live Site early Saturday morning. Depending on this pre parkrun check we may need to cancel on the day, please check our social media and the parkrun app.
