The system is configured to report each shot almost immediately after the bullet hits the target. Some clubs want the ET to be able to simulate the delay, which naturally exists in manual target shoots when the marker pulls the target down for examination. To achieve a similar delay in the HEXTA system a Delay function has been incorporated โ the time delay between when a shot is received on the target and displayed on the screen. The setup of the delay is very flexible and a club can configure different delays for different disciplines.
Configuring the โShooter Optionsโ session menu includes a โDelayโ selector so the scorer is able to select a range of time delays (see picture below)
These delay values and the number of selections is defined in the file โ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ง๐ช๐จ.๐ต๐น๐ตโ which is located in the same Directory folder as the "๐ฅ๐ข๐ต๐ข๐ฃ๐ข๐ด๐ฆ.๐ต๐น๐ต" file. The line
๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ข๐บ=0,7,10,15
has the set of delay values which will be available in the drop-down menu. The number of settings and their values can be modified by the user. ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ค๐๐๐ฉ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ญ ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐๐๐ญ!
For example, ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ข๐บ=0,6,17 will modify the Delay drop-down menu to only 3 selections: 0, 6 and 17 seconds.
Note: any changes made to the โ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ง๐ช๐จ.๐ต๐น๐ตโ file will not take effect until the server is restarted.
The different shooting disciplines can have different default delay selections, so when scorers select a different discipline the delay selector will be set to the default position for the selected discipline. The default delay selector positions for each shooting discipline are defined in the Clubs properties in the WEB database (see next picture).
In the following example if the scorer were to select discipline F-Open, the delay selector automatically sets to the 3rd delay position, which is (as shown on picture) 10 sec. The default value can be manually overridden by the scorer to any of the other available values.
๐๐จ๐ญ๐: any changes made to the Club properties will require the Club Administrator to download a new โ๐ฅ๐ข๐ต๐ข๐ฃ๐ข๐ด๐ฆ.๐ต๐น๐ตโ file. The changes will not take effect until the new file is loaded into ๐:\๐๐ฆ๐น๐ต๐ข๐ญ๐ฐ๐จ๐ด and the server is restarted.
