Congratulations Floyd breaking his personal best ending on 153 making the total runs 217 ! Massive effort !

A disappointing weekend for the boys.

We lost the toss and bowled first finishing up with Rosewood on 7-134. Some real tight bowling and fielding.
Then with the bat we all struggled to make runs against some real tight bowling. Riley Williams top scored with 12 runs and we were bowled out for 56 runs.

Time for the Christmas break and looking forward to come back fresh in the new year.

Thanks to Tom Mouat for filling in and taking a great catch at first slip.

Batlow (maybe) heads to Tumbarumba this weekend to face Tumba Falcons.

With the weather looking like it is though, we doubt we'll get a game in, which is a shame, but there's not much we can do about mother nature.

Keep an eye out on the page as we will update it up until the decision is made tomorrow morning on whether play is going ahead or not 🏏

Batlow bowled Tooma out in the 40th over for a total of 128.

Floyd Cross and Riley Williams currently at the crease. John Riddell made a safe 19 and seen the openers off.

Batlow currently 1/77 after 17 overs.

Batlow heads for the hills tomorrow to play 3rd place Tooma, at their home ground as we look to continue on with our good form of late.

It's going to be another hot one with temperatures of 30°+, especially at Tooma.

With Floyd Cross coming off 2 90+ scores and a century with the bat, he will be Tooma's main target whilst, Riley Williams, Mick Peel and Mitch Curry will all be looking to continue scoring 40s and above.

The boys will be looking to bowl extremely tight as Tooma is known for being a high scoring ground due to its size.

Play starts at 1pm at the Tooma Cricket Ground, not far from the Tooma Inn! Come on down, have a beer and watch some good cricket 🏏
