OCD is made up of experienced skaters from the Central Coast Area. Formed in 2013, it has been our mission to bring an alternative sport to the Central Coast while training for national roller derby competition. The league operates as a non-profit organization and is run for the skaters, and by the skaters; with the support of numerous volunteers. OCD is comprised of all sorts: business women, tea

chers, students, mothers, artists, and more; all of whom commit many hours a week to practice and physical training.

General information

We are currently at about 18 members, but have decided to intentionally stay small (no more than 28 members---just enough to fill two teams). Many of us have skated in large leagues before, and although it is fun at times to come to practice and have 60 other people skating around, we find that smaller works better for us. We are truly a league run by the skaters...all the skaters. All club matters are decided by general consensus---one skater, one vote; we don't do committees.
