With a heavy heart, Ballarat Nepali Samaj would like to inform everyone that our upcoming Haritalika Teej Celebration has been cancelled due to the devastating flood situation in Nepal.

At this difficult and heartbreaking time, our thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathies are with all the families and communities affected by the floods. Many of us are deeply concerned about the safety and wellbeing of our loved ones back home.

We believe this is a time for our community to stand together in solidarity, compassion and support for Nepal. 🇳🇵❤️🙏

To all our Nepalese community , especially those whose families and loved ones have been affected by the recent flash floods.

Our hearts are with you during this painful and uncertain time. Being far from home while worrying about your family can feel overwhelming and heartbreaking. The distance may prevent you from being there physically, but your love, prayers, support, and every effort you make still mean so much.

Please stay strong, keep communicating with your loved ones when possible, and support one another as a community. If you need support please contact us or if you are feeling helpless, remember that even small acts—sharing verified information, helping with relief efforts, check in one another or standing beside another —can make a difference.

To everyone affected in Nepal, you are not alone. The Nepali community around the world stands with you. May those missing be found safely, may the injured recover soon, and may every affected family receive the support and strength they need. 🇳🇵❤️

❤️🖤What a weekend for our Senior Men's team, who secured a fantastic 3–2 win over the league leaders and are looking strong as we head towards the finals!

The celebrations didn't stop there, with our partners at Ballarat Nepali Football Club presenting the Redbacks with their Community Support Award.
