BRUS Junior Teams Wrap-Up – 2025 VACSAL Basketball Carnival

That’s a wrap for our BRUS junior teams at the 2025 VACSAL Basketball Carnival!

Our Under 8’s showed incredible talent and played some deadly basketball all weekend. They gave it their all but just fell short of making the semi-finals.

The Under 10 Girls went into the grand final undefeated and played their hearts out but were narrowly defeated by West VIC Eels, 21-17.

The Under 10 Boys also remained undefeated throughout the weekend, despite playing with just five boys each game. They fought hard in the grand final but fell short to Sunraysia Lakers, 30-19.

Our Under 18 Girls made it to the grand final, but they faced a dominant Robinvale Munatunga 18 team and couldn’t get over the line, finishing 39-2.

The Under 18 Boys kicked off their finals campaign with an intense nail-biter against West VIC Eels, securing the win with a half-court shot. They advanced to the semi-finals this morning, facing an undefeated Robinvale Munatunga 18 side. After a strong first half, they fell short, 33-21.

BRUS would like to send a huge thank you to everyone who made this weekend possible—VACSAL for putting on another deadly tournament, Robinvale and Mildura for hosting, and of course, all the incredible kids who played their hearts out. We’re proud of each and every one of you!

We’ll see you all at the next tournament!

18 Girls : 1 Loss

All teams except our deadly under 8's all go into semi finals tomorrow and our under 18 girls straight through to grand finals!

BRUS Results – Day 1 of the VACSAL Basketball Carnival in Mildura 2025!

🏀 10 Boys – 3 Wins (Undefeated!)
🏀 18 Boys – 2 Wins, 1 Loss
🏀 18 Girls – 1 Win, 1 Loss
