We are a part of TE WHARE TUU TAUAA O AOTEAROA, founded by Taakuta Pita Sharples of Ngaati Kahungunu. We began in 2012 with a small founding group as you would with any roopu (group) and we have seen many come through our doors. Grade to various levels and then have moved on in life. We have a strong contingent here in Brisbane, still with some of the very first students from 2012 carrying the kau

papa (programme) and passing on their accumulated knowledge to those that follow in their footsteps. We will be forever grateful to our Tumu Whakarae, Taakuta Pita Sharples for creating this kaupapa for all our people. We are just one part of the TE WHARE TUU TAUAA O AOTEAROA whaanau (family). We also have other groups here in Australia that make us an even bigger whaanau (family) of TE WHARE TUU TAUAA O AOTEAROA. We have group in Melbourne, MAI I TE KORE KI TE PUUMANAWA & TE WHARE TUU TAUAA o TE ARA HONONGA and our newest group in Perth TE TOKA TUU MOANA.
