Please read the following information carefully and ensure it is passed on to every player in your team.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE — TUESDAY
All Night Soccer players must complete their registration through Squadi by Tuesday. Any player who has not registered will not be eligible to take the field.
This registration is compulsory as it ensures every player is appropriately insured through Football Queensland. The registration fee is not retained by Burdekin FC, and the club does not make any profit from it.
Burdekin FC has chosen to subsidise the Football Queensland fee. To receive this subsidy, players must enter the following discount code during registration:

Please ensure the discount code is entered before completing payment. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be provided to anyone who forgets to apply the code, as the club is unable to reimburse fees paid directly through the registration system.
Players should follow these steps in Squadi:
Register or sign in to Squadi.
Select the relevant participant or create a new participant registration.
Search for and select Burdekin FC.
Select “Night Soccer.”
Select “2026 Play On Football Player.”
Add the Night Soccer competition and membership.
Review the registration details.
Select “Sign Up to Competition.”
Apply the discount code NS2026.
Accept the terms and conditions and submit the registration.
If anyone needs assistance, Sian will be available at the MadHouse to help players complete their registration. Please encourage anyone experiencing difficulties to ask for assistance before Tuesday rather than leaving it until the last minute.
REFEREE RESPONSIBILITIES
Each team with a registered/ experienced player will be allocated a referee duty either before or after its own game. Captains are responsible for checking the draw and ensuring their team provides the required referees.
Teams should report to the MadHouse approximately five minutes before their allocated referee time to collect the whistle and game booklet.
We have made several exceptions during the opening weeks; however, too many teams are failing to assist with their allocated duties. The competition cannot continue to operate successfully without everyone contributing.
From Tuesday, if a team:
fails to attend its allocated referee duty;
does not arrange a suitable replacement or swap; and
makes no effort to contact the Night Soccer Committee beforehand,
the team’s own game will be recorded as an immediate forfeit.
If your team genuinely cannot cover its referee duty, please contact us as early as possible so that alternative arrangements can be considered. Communication is essential—simply failing to attend is not acceptable.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in ensuring all players are registered, insured and eligible to participate, and that every referee duty is covered.
