Yesterday was one of those perfect winter Saturdays. Blue skies, sunshine, kids playing footy and Storey Park looking an absolute picture. 🖤🤍
What a lot of people don't see is the work that happens long before the first whistle blows.
The fields marked, grounds set up, canteen stocked, BBQ fired up, coffee machine ready, bins out, equipment organised and a hundred little jobs that somehow get done every single week.
A huge thank you to our morning crew and all of our volunteers who turn up early, work behind the scenes and ask for nothing in return. You're the reason game day runs so smoothly and why our club feels like home.
The players might get the applause, but the real stars are the volunteers who make it all possible.
Thank you for everything you do. 🖤🤍

U11 blacks sing the team song for the first time this year after beating the previously undefeated Willoughby Blue 28-12. Not that we score or count results ☺️ Well done team

If you were down at Storey Park this morning for our first game you wouldn't have been disappointed An awesome effort from our little Magpies, and we have some other highlights to add later but let's enjoy their rousing version of the team song first

Our U12 Gold team put on an absolute clinic today — and it wasn't about one player, it was about a team.
Every run had support, every tackle had effort, and every player was working for the bloke beside him. It was a genuine team performance and a joy to watch from start to finish.
A big thank you as well to the boys from Silver who stepped up to help out. They fitted in seamlessly and it was fitting that one of them crossed on the buzzer to put the finishing touch on a great team display.
Footy played the right way. And a team song full of pride. 🖤🤍
