Mordialloc Sailing Club

Mordialloc Sailing Club Open Sundays only from 8:30 am : August - September
Open Saturdays only from 8:30 am: October - May

Mordialloc Sailing Club was officially established in its present location in the late 1950s and it has connections with sailing at Mordialloc since the 1890s. Originally located on the island as part of the Mordialloc Motor Yacht Club, it broke away to form its own club in 1946. It has a history that includes 12 square metre Sharpie sailing and Olympic representation. The honour boards displayed within the club rooms attest to the rich history of sailing at Mordialloc.

As an inclusive and community-focussed sailing club, we congratulate Australian Sailing on the formation of its inaugural Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group.

The theme for this year's National Reconciliation Week, 27 May to 3 June 2026, is 'All In' - a call for every Australian to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation - not just this week but every day.

Our 2026 Presentation Night was enjoyed by 70 members and friends. The 1940's was our theme as MSC was formed in 1946. Members put a lot of effort into bring the 1940's to life, and a soundtrack of '40's music helped to make it authentic.

Thank you to our sponsor, Community Bank Parkdale, for donating the major raffle prizes of the evening - AFL Medallion Club tickets for Marvel Stadium.

Enjoy some of the photos taken by members on the night!
