💙🏐 WHAT A WEEKEND OF GRAND FINALS! 🏐💙

🏆 GRAND FINAL WINNERS – PHOTON SOLAR GIANTS U13 DIV 2! 🏆
A HUGE congratulations to our Photon Solar Giants Under 13s Div 2 on an incredible 26–16 win against Rovers Rule!

What an amazing achievement! These girls have worked so hard all season, and it all came together on Grand Final day. They played with determination, teamwork and confidence, supported each other across the whole court and kept fighting right until the final whistle. To finish the season as GRAND FINAL CHAMPIONS is something they should be incredibly proud of! 🏆 Some of these girls were playing their very first season of netball, which makes their achievement even more special.

A massive congratulations to their coaches Emma, Meg and Sarah, who have supported, encouraged and believed in these girls all season. What a special way to finish an amazing year together! 💙🏆

🥈 GRAND FINAL RUNNERS-UP – CDU GIANTS U15 DIV 2! 🥈
A massive congratulations to our CDU Giants Under 15s Div 2, who finished Grand Final runners-up after a hard-fought game against Rapid Rovers, 45–32.
These girls have had an incredible season and should be so proud of making it all the way to the Grand Final! They gave it everything they had, continued to fight and support each other, and represented Giants with pride. Finishing as Grand Final runners-up is an amazing achievement and a reflection of all the hard work they have put in throughout the season.

A huge congratulations and thank you to their coach Roxy for all the time, commitment and support she has given the girls throughout the season. 💙

We are incredibly proud of both teams and everything they have achieved this year. Every training session, every game, every challenge and every bit of hard work led to this weekend!

And a massive THANK YOU to all our families, supporters and everyone who came down and filled the sidelines with blue! Your support throughout the season has been amazing. 💙🖤🤍

What a huge week for our Giants!

We kicked off the week with our Div 4 Oz Wide Flooring Giants taking on Feds for a spot in the Grand Final. The girls fought hard right to the end, going down by just 5 goals - Shoutout to our junior players who filled up all season and played the finals. An amazing season and a huge congratulations on finishing 3rd! 💙👏

Thursday night saw our Div 2, Div 3 & Div 4 senior teams hit the court, and every team put up an incredible fight! 💪🏼

👏🏼 A huge congratulations to our Div 2 team on getting the WIN and progressing through the finals! 🔥 And a massive thank you to our juniors who stepped up and filled in for our senior teams — we are so proud of you! 💙

🏐❤️OUR FINAL VOLUNTEER SHOUTOUT! – FEDERAL NETBALL CLUB ❤️🏐

What a week it has been celebrating the incredible people who give so much to netball! 🙌🏼
Our socials have certainly been busy, but it has been so special sharing just some of the faces behind our clubs and recognising the people who give their time, energy and passion to make our competition what it is. ❤️
To finish off our Volunteer Appreciation Round, we’re celebrating two wonderful volunteers from Federal Netball Club – Tori Ellis & Carly Ross! 👏🏼
⭐ TORI ELLIS ⭐
🏐 Club: Federal Netball Club
💙 Volunteer role:
Tori currently coaches the Under 13s Feds Force team and has been coaching junior teams at Feds for the past three years.
💬 Describe Feds in three words:
Organised. Listening. Recognising.
😂 Favourite netball memory:
“I have so many!! Winning three back-to-back grand finals at a previous club has got to be up there!
But more recently, last year all my team’s shooters were away or injured, so I was put in GS… I am NOT a shooter 😂 But I got a goal!!! Did a little celebration out on court!”

💙 Volunteer role:
Where do we even start with Carly! 🙌🏼
Carly joined Feds in 2012 as a player and since then has taken on so many roles – umpire, committee member, social media coordinator, umpire coordinator, umpire mentor and coach.
She has also been the ASNA Umpire Coordinator since 2020, with a season break in 2022, ran the Green Shirt Program in 2021, and the Umpire Development Program in 2024 and 2025.

Proud. Competitive. Family. 💙
🏆 Favourite netball memories:
“My favourite netball memories have always been my playing days with Federal Angels.
My favourite overall memories were 2019 when I received the Ann Jacobs Umpire Achievement Award, and 2025 when I received the Netball NT Umpire Spirit Award. Both incredible achievements that I am so proud of.”
