Sunday morning the young fella and I set our sights on a few bunnies but after dad spent the night before chasing a problem fox and woke up late we arrived and things were a little quiet on the rabbit front .
Our attention soon turned to The noise of crows pestering the ewes and fresh lambs .
The little firecracker 17hmr and the PARD DS35 made short work of a few before we were sprung and the Corvids disappeared as they do.
Fun little morning the days are getting warmer and longer bring on those hot summer nights 🇦🇺

PS do not comment before telling us we can't shoot these things Corvids (crows and ravens ) are able to be taken in our part of NSW with landowner permission and as always ethical practices.

Got a call about a problem fox hanging around a homestead day and night .
Went and shot problem fox.
Went home before midnight 🥊

Remember before posting your shallow comments directed at us hunters being cruel blah blah blah .
These things are introduced to our country they are the reason multiple species of our fauna have disappeared forever they are not meant to be here !
Please educate yourself about Australia and it's struggle with introduced species first 🇦🇺

A visit to a good mates place with lambing underway was in order last night .
And we must be doing something right as it was bloody quiet!
I made stand after stand and ran the call while watching the lambing ewes with zero replies.
Moved to the neighbours place only to see one red rascal cruising through the sewn stuff where I'd just come from ! The 250 barked and I put the first one down at a touch under 200 back across the fence I went to pick him up🤷
The next two were vixens and far more my style ran the call on "vixen in heat" at a heavily wooded area one after the other they appeared and sat like good dogs 🥊

4 more taken from this big Aussie white operation🇦🇺 Things are certainly on the slow down for a while until later in the year when things heat up .

These foxes were taken by a law abiding legal fi***rm owner who pays his taxes works hard and contributes to the Australian economy just like anyone else.
A pure blue collar Australian with young children and a wife in public healthcare .
We aren't radicals we aren't driven by any extremist beliefs we were born raised live and work in the country.

Hunters like me chase these things out of a sheer passion for the sport a passion for the outdoors a passion for adventure and the Australian environment 🇦🇺

What's around the next bend over the next rise or through the next gully.

Lots of these animals were taken with soon to be re classified so called "dangerous" fi***rms.

Fi****ms do not take themselves out of safes fi***rms do not pull their own triggers !

Fi****ms are dangerous and should be treated with respect absolutely!

But what happened last December has little to do with the tool and a whole lot to do with the individuals .

Australian Hunters and sport shooters are the most level headed rational law abiding people in Australia and we are being crucified for nothing .

Before passing judgment ask yourself what you've done for the environment lately ?
Can you see the impact happening in front of your own eyes ?

Chances are your Postie your Butcher and your Baker are fi***rm owners.
How about that Dad who steps in and coaches your daughters netball team? Yep probably him as well!
Are they any different to anyone else ?
No they are working class Australians who contribute and follow our laws .

4 big dog foxes that made me work for it!
About this time of the year everything stops working vixen calls fade off prey animal calls receive no replies and the dogs just disappear.
Vixens moving to den sites and my quietest time of the year sets in.
Later in the year pups emerg there's stubble to run and the madness starts all over again .

A few runs down post foot surgery feeling better every day a few dogs on the bar and a great little morning hunt with my young fella seeing a nice little fallow hind fall.
Still a few more to put away yet before they disappear into dens and things slow down for a while .
The vixen in heat or foxes fighting pulling them in hard as it always does at this time of the year .
New Nocpix Lumi getting a run and doing everything that's asked of it 👍
The FranchiFeelsRight horizon elite and Rico combo never ceasing to impress at distance as usual .

Meat runs with my boy🇦🇺
Lucky enough to have a few properties with small fallow populations that I'm fortunate enough to chase in the rare moments im not chasing foxes .
This nice little doe trusted the 250 odd metre distance was enough to keep her safe unfortunately I had a steady rest and put her down off the bonnet.
Little drag out with my main man and she's in the fridge 👍
Fortunate to have access to some magic parts of our great country.

The last couple of red coats I'll shoot for a while 🤦

Unfortunately I've sustained a mid foot fracture (lisfranc) I'll be out of the paddocks for an extended period missing fallow rut and a fair slog of lambing.

A massive thanks to anyone who followed liked and shared my footage and posts.
