A program built for 4-6 year olds who are just starting out in their netball journeys.

Brooke McCollum

Brooke has been playing netball since she was little and quickly found a love for coaching.

Coaching for 6+ years, Brooke brings so much knowledge and experience she’s ready to share with both junior and senior netballers.

She has coached a range of age groups and grades from U9 to inter 1 and D grade up to A grade.

Brooke is a qualified performance-driven netball coach specialising in defensive systems, footwork, and technical skill development.

Teleah Richards

Teleah has been playing netball since she was little and has been lucky enough to be coached by some very experienced coaches throughout her years.

Teleah is a qualified coach who coaches both in the junior space and senior space. Her specialty is goalie coaching and mid court coaching. She is currently taking on clients for 2026 so get in now!

Introducing our second Spark Netball Academy student, Charlotte. ⚡️

Charlotte is 10 years old and already dedicates so much of her time to practising her netball skills.

We asked Charlotte a few questions;

What position do you play?
GA or sometimes C

What’s your favourite position?
GA

What were you hoping to get out of the 6 week program?

Learn new skills to use around the ring and in games

Do you think you have started to achieve that so far?

Yes definitely! I’ve learnt heaps of new skills, like the split to move closer to the goal

Are you enjoying the 6 week program?

Yes! It’s really fun and really good if you want to learn new skills

What has been your favourite part of your program so far?

Coming out and learning everything that Taylor does in games

Would you want to continue your netball development through Spark Netball Academy?

Yes!! I feel like that there is heaps more stuff I can learn to make me an even better netball player

Charlotte has already shown so much growth in her sessions so far. She continues to execute everything she is taught, asks questions along the way and gives 100% effort. She’s been a wonderful addition to the Spark program. 💙💛

Player profile.

For the first time with our first Spark Netball Academy student we put together a little questionnaire to share with everyone.

Name: Sienna
Age: 14 years old

Sienna came to Spark with some goals in mind and wanting to develop her craft as a shooter. We have built a 6 week program that caters to her needs, working on shooting accuracy, circle movement and body placement to help her hit the court with confidence each and every week.

We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Sienna and can’t wait to continue working with her and challenging her each session.

1. What position do you play?
I play all over the court. In the current Summer season I have played GS, and all mid court positions C,WA,WD.

2. What’s your favourite position?
My favourite position is GS, I have been working on GS in the Winter season just gone and now in the summer season.

3. What are you hoping to get out of the 6 week program?
I am hoping to develop in GS, by improving my accuracy as well as learning more skills. It’s a position I have come to really enjoy but I need more guidance in this position.

4. Do you think you have started to achieve that so far?
Yes and I have been putting what I have learnt into action when I have the opportunity to play in GS.

5. Are you enjoying the 6 week program?
Yes I am. The 1:1 is really helpful. I feel really supported and I learn a lot more.

6. Would you want to continue your netball development through Spark Netball Academy?
Yeah I would. I look forward to my sessions each week and are looking forward to the sessions in the school holidays.
