Another fun training session at Blackwood yesterday — despite another wet Saturday!

Thank you to everyone who made the effort to come along. It was great to see everyone getting out there and putting in the work.

Our next Blackwood training session is Saturday 26 September 2026.

It was a great night at training with a nice grippy floor!

We saw some excellent skating, with lots of improvement across the team. It’s fantastic to see everyone putting in the effort.

Keep pushing, Team Skate FX, we’ve got this!

The sun finally came out today and the track was dry!

After all the rain, it was great to get back out on the track and put in some training outside.

Thanks to all the skaters who showed up and made the most of it. Great to see everyone back on wheels!

Flash back to when the weather was on our side!

The weather has definitely put a dampener on our outdoor skating this week.

Now we’re itching to get back on wheels and put some speed down!

Blackwood Training Wrap Up….

A small group joined us at Blackwood on Saturday, and we had a fantastic session.

This week we worked on one of the most important safety skills in inline speed skating jumping obstacles. While we hope you never have to use it in a race, being able to confidently jump can make all the difference when avoiding a fallen skater, a moving stick, or another unexpected object on the track.

Learning these skills in a controlled environment helps build confidence, improves balance and coordination, and prepares skaters for the unexpected.

It may have been a small group, but there were plenty of smiles and lots of laughs.

We would love to see more skaters join train. You do not need speed skates to join us. All skates welcome.
