Summer is over, and we already miss moments like this ✨ This choreography by Andrea was danced and loved by so many of us this summer. Hqere with Tessa, who only recently joined ANIMA and somehow already feels like one of us 🤍

But maybe that’s the nice thing about September: while we’re still holding on to the last summer vibes, something new is already beginning. October brings a new season to ANIMA — new classes, new workshops, new creations, Open Doors and other exciting events we can’t wait to announce.

And we’re curious who will walk onto our dancefloor next. Maybe you?

ADC goes Kultursommer Wien

,A Dancer’s World‘ 🌏

A contemporary homage to Martha Graham’s iconic film from 1957 ,A Dancer’s World‘ reimagined by the dancers of today.

In the film, Graham reflects on what it means to be a dancer,a divine normal’. Someone who reveals what the human body is capable of after years of discipline and devotion. We honor her words and her legacy by embodying them through our own artistic voices.

You’re Invited! ADC goes Kultursommer Wien

This Friday is a very special evening for us, and we’d love you to be part of it.

Over the past months, the ANIMA Dance Company has been creating a new dance program called MODERN RE.MIX. Inspired by pioneers such as Martha Graham and Merce Cunningham, the program reimagines Modern Dance through the eyes of dancers of today. It’s our way of celebrating a dance form that is over 100 years old—yet still alive, evolving and deeply relevant.
