We design our routes so more people can ride them — including those on eBikes. ⚡🚲

Together with , we organised a ride on parts of the WOSSA Bikepacking Route, using Performance Line SX motors on eGravel bikes to explore the water cycle of the Alps. 💧

A diverse group — riders with different levels of fitness and experience — came together to discover glaciers, rivers, and the stories that connect them.

At gravgrav, accessibility means more than surface type or elevation. It’s about making adventure open, not exclusive.

When we design a route or mark it as eBike‑friendly, it’s not to separate riders — it’s to invite more of them.

The eBike market is growing fast, and that’s a good thing.

More people discovering the freedom of travel by bike means more awareness, more respect for cycling infrastructure, and more voices asking for sustainable access to nature.

And the best part? No one loses when more people ride.

The purists keep their challenge. The assisted riders go further.

The connection — to place, to people, to planet — stays the same. 🌍

Coffee outside 2025 ☕️

It was a blast! Thx to the lovely folks for organizing an event for all of us that made the brillant choice of having not one but two extremely nerdy and expensive hobbies!
Our friends of .gravel.esc organized a lovely ride and spread the vibes for a good coffee looking at our beloved Untersberg Panorama. What a scene!

Did you miss it? I guess we will need to repeat this event. Even better we have some prices left!

The new Cervélo R5 is here!

6,95kg in size 56 and comes with a stunning 1x aero chainring and Red XPLR E1 derailleur and 10-46t cassette. It is a race machine designed to ride uphill.

Tailfin releases cargo versions for their AeroPack and AP18 rack top bags.

You might have already seen some fancy white R&D bags with pockets on the outside to stash items quick. Now the brand has released versions of their bags that feature those expandable side pockets by default! On top there are a handful of other improvements that seem to indicate a logical progression.
A really nice feature is actually how you can upgrade your existing tailfin arc without buying everything from scratch. The new system is backwards compatible. Hats off to that approach.

EXPLORE WATER CIRCULATION IN THE ALPS BY BIKE! 💧🚵

Today we can finally publicly announce our biggest project to date! 📣
WOSSA takes you on a bikepacking adventure from the vibrant city of
Salzburg out to the northernmost glacier Blaueisgletscher in
Berchtesgaden, over the coldest lake in Germany Frillensee all the way
to Rosenheim and lake Chiemsee. On the second leg of our figure eight
you will explore the mighty Tennengau mountains, the Dachstein Glacier
and the mighty Salzkammergut lakes.
There is obviously a lot of water in here which is why we called the
route “WOSSA”. An Austrian and Bavarian dialect word for water.

The route has been specifically designed for gravel bikes. Just over 560
Kilometers and a tad more than 8000 meters of climbing make for a
great challenge.
Designed to be completed between 5 and 7 days and with a great variety
of terrain and landscapes only the alps can provide.
Supported through a brevet card to enhance your riding experience and
extended by additional digital material the route will give you an
educational experience and a real bikepacking adventure all in one!

This project was created across the borders of Germany and Austria
with the help of European EUREGIO funding.
9 tourism boards combined their expertise to create a unique project.
With a visually stunning and varied route by Karacho Consulting, a
unique identity thanks to artist Jack Taylor and the story and network
of gravgrav, as well as the input of 3 scientists and a sustainability
expert, unique competences could be combined into an interactive
experience!

MARMÖL!!!

…is probably what is shouting on the first picture.
The 2025 edition was an absolute blast and we can’t believe yet how we are traveling to Brescia on February for an event through mud and quarries again and again.

Well actually we did write down some thoughts on why this is one of our favorite community events over the year. It is a massive party combined with a challenging but beautiful gravel ride through the hills of Brescia.
Also how could we miss a party with our friends from ? They animated the party as you can clearly see.

Custom 3D printed saddle

“Ordering a saddle that expensive really took a lot of time and consideration. However the .cc joyseat is an amazing piece of kit I do not want to miss anymore and worth every cent!”

The view from other side of the window 👀

Ian organizes and yep, his view on what happens during a race is totally different than that of the riders.
Maybe we should start an interview series between psychologists and race organizers? Results may vary.

However, Ian wraps up some of the most emotional stories across the race, the stress and work going into the event before and during the race and if he reckons it was all worth it.
A heart warming story and a unique perspective on races that we don’t usually hear.
