Alle Kinder die 2011 oder später geboren sind können auch ohne FIS-Code an der Veranstaltung teilnehmen!

Zudem freuen wir uns über jeden der ab Montag dem 8. Jänner vorbeikommt und mit uns durch die Buckelpiste flitzt, egal ob Groß oder Klein. Tipps inklusive 😇 Bitte kurz Bescheid geben!

Training opportunities are available the week before from Monday, January 8th.

The Moguls Alps Tour aims to foster a love for mogul skiing among young participants. In the spirit of promoting the sport's future, the competition welcomes kids without an FIS Code.

Thanks to ORF Sport for the past two days! 🥰
After my injury in December it was my dream and deepest wish to be somehow part of this years Olympic Winter Games which I would miss😢
To make me feel like I am part of this event was a special moment for me. Officially todays day would have marked my last highlevel Mogul competition in my career. But life had different plans for me…

I had so much fun and I am grateful for this experience!
On to the next adventures 🥰

Vor etwas mehr als einem Monat dachte ich, meine Verletzung sei die schwierigste Erfahrung die ich in meiner Buckelpistenkarriere machen musste. Aber leider muss ich sagen, dass mich etwas anderes härter getroffen hat als mein komplett zerstörtes Knie. Heute ist etwas passiert, von dem ich mir nie hätte vorstellen können, dass es jemals passieren wird… Ich bin mehr als traurig über diese Entscheidung und kann immer noch nicht verstehen, wie und warum das passieren konnte. In den vergangenen zwei Jahren habe ich alles dem Buckelpistensport untergeordnet um mich für die diesjährigen Olympischen Spiele in Peking zu qualifizieren. Ich habe in den vergangenen Jahren mein ganzes privates Geld investiert und jeden Euro, den ich von meinen treuen Sponsoren bekommen habe. Dass „mein“ (mit meinen Ergebnissen und Punkten erreichter) hart erkämpfter, offensichtlich sehr teurer und hauptsächlich privat finanzierter Quotenplatz an eine andere Athletin vergeben wird, kann ich in keinster Weise nachvollziehen. Scheint, als wäre dies nur der Vorteil meines persönlichen Schicksals.

Wie in all den Jahren als österreichische Buckelpistenfahrerin werde ich auch diese Entscheidung akzeptieren und bin mir sicher, dass meine Zukunft noch viele glückliche Tage bringen wird!

A bit more than a month ago I thought my injury is the hardest experience I had to take in mogul skiing. But sadly I have to say that something else hit me harder than my totally destroyed knee. Today something happened I could never imagine will ever happen… I am beyond sad about this decision and can still not understand how and why this could happen. In the past two years I have given everything to mogul skiing and to make the qualification for this years Olympics in Beijing. I have invested all my private money and each Euro I got from my loyal sponsors during the past years. The fact that my (earned with my results and points) hard-fought, obviously very expensive and mostly private financed spot given to another skier is something I can in no way understand. Seems like this is only the benefit of my personal destiny.

As in all these years as an Austrian mogul skier I will also accept this decision and I am sure my future will bring many more happy days!

In any way I wish all the participants good luck!

After my crash on Tuesday of last week, yesterday I was finally able to leave the Privatklinik Hochrum - Sanatorium der Kreuzschwestern 🍀 A huge thanks to Dr. Fink from Praxis Gelenkpunkt and all of the team for taking such good care of me throughout the last week 🙏🏻
Being truly honestly, it hasn‘t been an easy time for me, although slowly I’m beginning to accept what happened. Sometimes we feel life isn’t fair, but I’m a big believer that everything happens for a reason, even if the reason isn’t clear to me yet….Trust me, I’ll definitely find out.
For the past 30 years skiing has always been my first priority. I am grateful for all the people I’ve met along the way and all the places its enabled me to travel. I will forever be proud to call myself an Olympian and to have achieved my childhood dreams. My journey over the years has allowed me to life the live I have ever dreamed of. It certainly wasn’t easy competing for 10 years as a Mogul Skier in Austria, but I relished the challenge. As a self-funded athlete, organising and financing my own training, travel and accommodation pushed me beyond my limits at times, but I can honestly say I gave it absolutely everything to reach my goals.
I believe the next few months will be difficult, I’ll need to learn to be patient, but with the same positive attitude that has taken me this far, I’ll dig deeper and work harder than ever before.
For now my only goal is to heal up totally. Where one door closes, many others open. I am looking forward to everything that comes next 🥰
Big thanks to everyone who has supported me along the way. Also, to those who doubted me, it simply made me stronger and I learned from the experiences, they helped shape who I am today and I’m incredibly proud of the person I’ve become.
Special thanks for all the kind messages and calls during the last week. I feel blessed and thankful to see how many people were following my journey. 🤗
Last but not least „najlepša hvala“ to my coach Aleš Špan who loves this sport so much. He gave all his heart and soul over the last few years and I am thankful for every second and his trust in me! We didn’t quite reach everything we worked for, but we definitely created some great memories.
