Sun, swords and serious work.

A few impressions from our outdoor training in Premstätten: focused basics, partner drills and kata under clear blue skies, with Patricia leading the local group and guidance from head instructor Sebastijan. This is how we build real skill step by step. Open‑air training with serious intent.

Yesterday our Premstätten group trained outside with clear basics, partner work and focused kata – led by Patricia, with the session guided by head instructor Sebastijan and joined by Maxim from the Maribor group.

First steps on the grading path.

These photos show three of our members successfully completing their 10th and 9th kyu exams – the very beginning of a longer journey in Japanese swordsmanship. Each kyu level at Swordsmanship Sekol marks real progress: learning correct basics, etiquette and safe handling of the sword, not just collecting belts. If you are a disciplined adult who would like to start from the foundations and work seriously toward your own kyu exams, you are welcome to apply for a trial class and join our training.

In April Maxim successfully passed his 3rd kyu exam and Patricia earned her 9th kyu – both results of consistent training, focus and showing up week after week.
