Our new X-stands have arrived for Schwertkunst Graz, Mečevanje Maribor and Mečevanje Koper.

Each location now has two walls:
— one made for photos and community moments
— one with more information and a QR code to register for a free trial training

Deai is the first form of Kumitachi

Nanahon, a paired Japanese sword exercise: it teaches both practitioners to control distance, timing and the line of the blade—not to hit harder, but to move safely and precisely together. One of the advanced standing sword forms in Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu – a 500‑year‑old Japanese sword school.

What you’re seeing:
• Real katana work (draw, cut, clean, sheathe)
• Full‑body movement, not just arm swings
• Training exactly how old samurai schools structured their forms, not movie choreography.

🎉 Officially founded in Graz!

Our club Schwertkunst Graz – Swordsmanship Sekol is now officially registered and ready to grow. This is a big milestone for our iaido and naginatajutsu journey in Graz.

A huge thank you to everyone who is helping to build this club, especially Patricia and Nikolai – we are an amazing team, and I truly enjoy working with each one of you.

We will celebrate this together with our members soon – more training, more swords, and more good moments to come!
