Mai Ni Meriye

“Oh my dear mother,
On the road to Argentina,
How far away is Bir?
I won’t settle in Argentina, nor will I settle in Kasauli.
I won’t settle in Argentina, nor will I settle in Kasauli.
But I must go to Bir.”

This is my version of the most-heard song here in Bir. When I learned its meaning, I felt it perfectly reflected my sense of belonging to this land, so I adapted the lyrics.creativeflight and I came up with the idea of singing it at the open mic at , and it finally happened. showed me the chords on the ukulele and helped me with the pronunciation. Then cheered me on, witnessed the whole process the day before and made this beautiful video during one of our girlfriend date by the river.

It was fun playing the ukulele for the first time and preparing this in just one day. Now this song is stuck in both my head and my heart.

Grateful to have discovered this place, its villagers, and the tribe with whom we share this feeling of belonging

SING & DANCE it

Most of the time, we live in our heads, trying to solve life from there. In a world shaped by constant phone and computer use, sedentary habits have become almost pandemic bringing with them poor posture, neck and back pain, headaches, stress and disconnection from the body.

Painkillers, massages, reiki, acupuncture or osteopathy may offer relief, but if we remain disconnected from our bodies and from the knowledge of how to care for them, the root of the imbalance often stays untouched.

Singing and dancing are ancient human practices that have accompanied people for centuries through celebrations, grief, rites of passage and the expression of emotions. They are deeply natural ways of reconnecting with ourselves and with life.

When we sing or dance, we often experience an immediate shift in our mind, body, emotions and even our spiritual connection. These practices help us move energy, release tension and transform our inner state into one that feels lighter, freer and more joyful.

Singing and dancing have been a profound support throughout my own life, which is why I share them so passionately. Through my personal experience and through witnessing the transformation in those who join my sessions have seen how immediate and powerful their effects can be.

The environment surrounding us is also essential for our wellbeing. Being in nature reconnects us with the very elements we are made of: earth, air, fire and water helping us feel more grounded, alive and in harmony with the whole.

You are warmly invited to explore the nourishing and transformative benefits of embodying life through voice and movement, and to reconnect with the natural creative energy that longs to be expressed through you. ✨

Very grateful for this beautiful shooting by in my dear Rishikesh. It all flowed very naturally and reflects the way I live my yoga of singing and dancing in connection with nature.

IMPRO ✨

One of the forms I enjoy a lot is improvising with my voice with different types of instrumental music as well as electronic music.

Chants, mantras, songs give me repetitive patterns and structures that bring me harmony, a way to pray and set intentions. On the other hand, improvising and jamming offers me a way to become playful between form and freedom exploring different rhythms, rhymes and plays on words. It’s a fun way to explore different forms and possibilities. I enjoy improvising with patterns as well as exploring new creations.
Sometimes from improvising some melodies and lyrics come from where I later create some chants or songs.

Last year when I was in India and my visa was about to expire, I remembered my friends Sebas and Paz that I met in Rishikesh said they would be in Thailand and had invited me to join them. I thought it was the best option since it was near India where I wanted to come back to continue my dreams. I so without knowing almost anything about Thailand I just went. I am so grateful for their love and support and all we shared between cacaitos, beach and meditations.

When I was in Phuket, I was added in a local whatsapp group. Once I saw a message from who said she had a handpan and was looking for someone else to do meditations. I contacted her and she invited me to the Fridays drums circles at .thailand. This was the door to my dear music friends tribe. There I met really beautiful people with whom I began playing.

On Thurdays, I started going to the jams of invited by dear her partner where I met an amazing Philippine super musical family with whom together with whoever came we would improvise and play all kind of music styles. (It continues below…)

Today is her birthday 💛🌼✨🤗
My mom’s bday

I am grateful that apart from the rol of her being my mom, we are such good friends. We can openly talk about anything, tell each how we feel and even we get upset we soon talk again to repair, learn, apologize, joke about it and move on.

Grateful for learning from each other.
Wishing my mom love, wellbeing and peace. She is one of the most resilient people I have met. After all the big challenges we have gone through as a family, she keeps trying.

I wish she could come and experience my life in this country I feel home. Meanwhile,
thanks to technology and I can take her on tours here and there, and now she got a taste of why I love this home so much.

Grateful for our talks, our retreats together, our dates and that special day when we danced in that terrace.
Lots of love to my mom.

!Te amo ma!

Impro ✨

“One advantage of collaboration is that it’s much easier to learn from someone else than from yourself. And inertia, which is often a major block in solitary work, hardly exists at all here: A releases B’s energy, B releases A’s energy. Information flows and multiplies easily. Learning becomes many-sided, a refreshing and vitalizing force.”
From the book: “Free play. Improvisation in life and art.”

Stephen Nachmanovitch

Improvisation has been present in my life in many different ways: through challenging and abrupt changes in life, through improvisational theatre classes, and through musical improvisation. In every form, I feel it supports us in navigating the art of impermanence.

When improvising in music, we need to open our senses and truly listen: listening to others, while also listening inwardly and allowing our own inner music to emerge. There is such beauty in this magic.
When we are deeply listening, we can feel when it is time to play or sing, when it is time for silence, and when it is time to give space to another. It becomes a beautiful creative communication where we can experience being one with the collective while still giving room to our own vibration and authentic sound.
The music created in the present moment is unique, existing only for that instant, exactly as it is meant to be.

Improvisation brings us fully into the PRESENT, and in that presence, we are nowhere else. Nostalgia for the past and anxiety about the future dissolve for a while.
Here’s a magical moment from last year in the beautiful creative home of , with my beloved cosmic Bir tribe. It was quite an emotional day, as it was both my friend Alice’s and my farewell before our visas expired.

So grateful for this moment. So grateful for each one of you celebrating life like this.

More to come on impro… one of my favorite forms of expression

You are welcome to explore this art in our sessions and singing circles 🌼

Musical Life Journey ✨🎶
The first time I arrived in Rishikesh for yoga, I never imagined that singing the music from this beloved land would find me in this way.
A dear Sanskrit and life teacher from Argentina, Mariam, who grew up in India until she was 15, gave me one of the best pieces of advice before my first journey to India: to have no expectations and simply see what Goddess (what vibration) would be introduced to me. What found me was a special wave of music and dance, and somehow we found each other.
Music had always been present in my home. My brother was my first music guru. He introduced me to music from all over the world and had an alternative band that I deeply loved. We would sing together with his guitar, bring life to the songs I wrote, and play music with friends during our birthdays and gatherings.
When I was 19, I joined an improl theatre and music group, and a choir where we sang songs from around the world. Over time, I continued exploring music and dance from different cultures: contemporary dance, body percussion, dervish dance and exploratory singing, and meditative music.

Pushkar ✨

This is a place my dear friend Lu from Argentina has visited many times, and I had been wanting to experience it myself after sensing its magic through her stories. So, on this journey through Rajasthan, I made it happen.

Pushkar kind of reminds me of Varanasi, it feels so ancient, as if time stopped there long ago.

I arrived in the evening and only spent a day there. I woke up early to go to the lake. I was the only foreigner among locals, so I felt as if I was on a movie. I met a Brahmin priest, and he performed ceremony for us by the water honoring the dead, it happened to be a special festivity for that.

Afterward, I stayed for a while, watching men and women doing their bathing rituals by the lake. For the first time in India, I saw a group of women bathing topless, singing together and gently washing one another. It gave me a deep sense of connection, purity, and freedom.
It reminded me of gatherings with my dear girlfriends in Argentina, where we would rent a pool just for ourselves to dance, sing, and celebrate our presence.

Later, I climbed up to the Savitri Temple, almost 1,000 steps. From the top, I enjoyed a beautiful view over Pushkar. Along the way, I met many locals and felt their warmth and kindness. I especially loved the colorful sarees worn by the women and I was curious watching for the first time so many men with turbans on their head.

After that, I joined a Navratri event where people prayed for days, chanting the Gayatri mantra 108 times and walking around a temple 108 times. It was powerful to witness such devotion.

To end the day, I joined a drum circle where we learned to play a traditional Rajasthani drum. When I returned to my guesthouse, a singing circle with cacao was just about to begin, such a perfect way to close my short but special visit before heading to a wedding in Rajasthan.

It was a brief, yet deeply meaningful experience. India has many realities within the same land, where colors, flowers, incense, rituals, chanting & music are always present.

“Chunar”, Ode to the mother, a pearl behind the scene of the shooting of Gobinday Mukanday

Last year, after the song and video were shot on the outskirts of Indore, picked up the shruti box and started singing this powerful song that left us all hypnotized and in awe. This is a song form a Bollywood movie dedicated to the mothers. He also shared that Chunar is the long scarf or veil women wear. In this song, the scarf symbolizes the mother’s love and protection.

I had been wishing to share this pearl for a while, but it kept getting delayed for this and that. Now that I finally found the moment, it has synchronized with beautiful news.

In the last hours, a dear yoga and dance practitioner gave birth to Valerie. She was born through an easy, gentle, and quick delivery. I had the joy of accompanying the mother with prenatal yoga sessions through breathwork, movement, voice activation, chanting, and dance.

This is the fifth mother and child I have accompanied in private sessions, and it is a beautiful gift every time to create a space for connection with each mother’s body, mind, and emotions, and with her baby, through the beauty of music, dance, breathwork, and singing.

As I write this, I want to honor all mothers, and also the nurturing feminine energy in everyone, men and women alike. That energy that is always available to care for ourselves and each other. May we keep nourishing and growing it day by day.

Apart from this beautiful piece, if you haven’t yet listened to the version of “Gobinday Mukanday” we recorded for the Untreated Sessions for , you can find the link in their and my bio. This chant reminds us of the divine virtues we all carry within.
