Even when the goal seems out of reach, it’s important to fight until the very end. The impossible almost became possible. Starting the day T-21st and nine shots behind the leader, then finishing just three shots back and tied for 3rd, is something to celebrate despite not taking the win.
Proud of the resilience shown in what has been a frustrating tournament. I’ve played well throughout but had little to show for it due to multiple missed opportunities. Today, everything clicked and made up for the previous rounds.
A typical slow start saw me at +3 through the opening two holes, followed by a grind to get back under par in the first round. Then, having just one bogey over the next 54 holes showed real steadiness in my game.
Frustrated, but proud of this performance.
