What happens if you don’t let air out of your BCD while ascending? 🤿⬆️

You can start to shoot up way too fast! 😳

As you ascend, the air in your BCD expands, increasing your buoyancy. If you don’t release air, your ascent can accelerate quickly.

👉 Remember: Ascend slowly, vent your BCD, and stay in control of your buoyancy.

Good buoyancy control = safer, more relaxed diving. 🌊💙

My friends are out here getting married and having babies… meanwhile I’m just committing to deeper dives 🤿💍➡️👶➡️🌊

Honestly, I’m a little worried about them. Should I bring them fins? A regulator? Maybe a refresher course in breathing? I don’t know how to help people who willingly leave the ocean like that.

Anyway, if anyone needs me, I’ll be underwater avoiding responsibility and checking on the fish. They seem more stable.
