For years I called training my therapy too.
For those hours, the mind quiets.
Music in your ears, movement, intensity.
The greatest distraction you can give yourself.
The replay stops. The thing sitting on your chest lifts just enough.
Then you walk out.
And somewhere between the car park and home, it is all back.
Exactly where you left it.
Training shifts your state, your mood. It builds your body, sharpens your focus. The benefits are real.
What it does not reach is the level where the noise keeps getting produced.
The replay. The restlessness. The thing that runs underneath, regardless of how hard you trained that day.
That level needs something different.
