I hear this constantly:
"I've hired a VA but I'm still doing everything."
"Maybe I just need someone better."
"They can't seem to work without me checking in."
And every time, the problem isn't the person.
It's the absence of systems for them to operate within.
Your VA can't own client onboarding if the process changes every time.
They can't manage check-ins if client data lives in your head.
They can't take initiative if there's no documented playbook.
You haven't hired wrong.
You've delegated into a vacuum.
Build the system. Then the hire makes sense.
