Race Academy is back - but our sailors have been busy all summer ☀️
Here’s just a glimpse of what some of our sailors have been getting up to over the break:
🌍 Optimist Worlds | Tangier, Morocco
Lucca & Nela represented the UAE, supported by UAE SARF 🇦🇪 , while Luka represented the Czech Republic. Lucca made the Gold Fleet, finishing 33rd overall, with Luka 115th and Nela 160th in a fleet of 284. Fantastic results all round!
🇮🇹 Lake Garda | Optimist
Matus, Luka, Lucca, Nela, Tanya, Liv, Logan, Matteo, Arthur & Alicia competed across Trofeo Simone Lombardi, Ora Cup Ora and the Gold Cup. Thanks to UAE SARF 🇦🇪 for supporting Lucca & Nela throughout the summer with Team UAE.
🇩🇪🇸🇪 German Open & Swedish Championships
Alex had a standout summer, finishing 4th overall and U13 winner at the German Open, before taking 3rd overall at the Swedish Championships.
🇧🇪 Belgian Nationals | Optimist
Arthur & Matteo competed in Belgium, with Arthur taking 1st in the Junior Category.
🇮🇪 Irish Nationals | Optimist
Niall, Jasper & Eliana competed at the Nationals, with Jasper & Eliana also racing at the Leinster Championships.
🇬🇧 UK Nationals
Fyn & Dom raced ILCA 4 before switching to 29ers for HISC Race Week, while Eddie competed at the Optimist UK Nationals in Largs.
🏆 Melges 15
William finished an impressive 3rd at the Melges 15 European Cup in Lake Garda.
🇪🇸 Training in Palma
Chloe, Ruby, Ryan, Fynn, Dom, Logan & Niall trained with GOLD WINDS SAILING ACADEMY across Optimists, ILCAs & 29ers. Thanks for the fantastic training!

Miya & Nick have also been putting in plenty of ILCA training in some very picturesque locations.
🌊 Non-racing
Selena & Savir got on board a Hobie 15 — because having fun is just as important.
And that’s only a glimpse! Different boats, different countries, plenty of racing and training. Fantastic work from everyone 💪
