Qatar swimmers continue to make waves at the Islamic Solidarity Games Riyadh 2025 with strong performances and determination in the pool.

Mohammed Mahmoud delivered a near podium finish in the 200m individual medley and a competitive race in the 100m breaststroke, while Ali Tamer impressed in the 50m freestyle with a close fourth place.

The action continues as Tamer competes in the 100m freestyle, Hamza Shaalan takes on the 200m breaststroke, and Aziz Al Jilani aims high in the 200m butterfly.

Beyond the pool, the mens table tennis team wrapped up their journey in the quarter finals and Haya Al Kuwari showed resilience in the judo repechage. The mens volleyball team prepares for key matches ahead.

With over 3000 athletes from 57 nations, the Islamic Solidarity Games highlight the region's top sporting talents. Qatar stands proud with 82 athletes in 16 disciplines.

UAE U16 Jiu Jitsu Team Shines at World Youth Championship in Bangkok

The UAE Jiu Jitsu national team U16 continues to impress on the world stage, bringing their medal count to an outstanding 11 at the 2025 World Youth Championship in Bangkok.

The girls team delivered a strong showing, collecting four additional medals. Sara Farook secured silver in the 48 kg category, while Mathail Alhammadi and Ghaiaheb Alrashdi earned bronze in the 36 kg division, and Maitha Alkarbi claimed bronze in the 40 kg division.

With two gold, three silver, and six bronze medals so far, the team has demonstrated true commitment, skill, and unity. Their performance reflects the growth of womens jiu jitsu in the UAE, driven by strong leadership and continuous investment in local talent.

Congratulations to our rising champions. The journey continues as the boys under 18 team steps in next.

DP World Tour Play Offs Return to UAE for Second Edition

With less than a month to go, the DP World Tour Play Offs are set to return to the UAE for their exciting second edition. Golf fans and top players worldwide are gearing up for two unforgettable weeks in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The 20th Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship will kick off the Play Offs from 6th to 9th November, featuring the top 70 players on the Race to Dubai Rankings. The field will then narrow to the top 50 for the grand finale at the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai from 13th to 16th November where the Race to Dubai champion will be crowned.

The official launch event at Louvre Abu Dhabi saw dignitaries and golf legends come together to celebrate the upcoming tournaments. With the region being home to two flagship events, the UAE continues to shine on the global sporting stage.

Excitement is in the air as the countdown begins.
