Welcome to Handball Club Dubai (HC Dubai)

Handball Club Dubai (formerly Dubai International Handball Club) was founded in 2012 by a group of UAE residents passionate for Handball. The club consists of players from over 35 different nationalities and 3 teams: Men, Women, and Beach Handball as well as a school for children. We are an amatour club currently operated and supported exclusively by its

members, in large majority former professional players or sports enthusiasts, committed to promote and support the development of this sport in the UAE. Our teams have participated in local, regional, and international games and competitions with outstanding results. 💙🤝 HC Dubai Meets SDG Spezia Pallamano🤝💙
During her visit to Italy, Francesca Colonnata, Head Coach of HC Dubai, had the pleasure of attending the end-of-season friendly matches organized by SDG Spezia Pallamano.
The event was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with former teammates, meet new faces, and experience once again the passion and commitment that continue to drive the growth of handball in the region.
The most special moment, however, was sharing the day with her sister Laura Colonnata, Team Manager of SDG Spezia Pallamano and Technical Manager of all the club's youth teams. Despite working in different countries and organizations, both sisters continue to dedicate their time and energy to developing handball and supporting the next generation of players.
The meeting highlighted the strong connection between HC Dubai and SDG Spezia Pallamano, two clubs that, although geographically distant, share the same values of passion, inclusion, development, and love for the sport.
A heartfelt thank you to SDG Spezia Pallamano for the warm welcome and congratulations on another successful season. It was inspiring to see so many young athletes enjoying the game and building the future of handball.
