I will ALWAYS put mindset before strength in terms of performance.

Now im not saying not being strong but being mentally fantastic is good, im saying there is a fine line between a few people being a bit stronger but mentally weaker and you being slightly weaker but mentally better as when the s**t hits the fan and in things start to go wrong, your mind keeps you in the game and your body follows. Not the other way around.

Jefferson Split Sqaut Isometrics

Had quite alot of interest in this exercise on a recent story so thought id put up some benefits and how I set it up.

Had never come across these until
Put these into my program, glad and not glad he did tbh 🤣, but thats the benefit of even coaches having coaches, we can all learn something new.

Feel free to do your own research too, but these have some great crossover to most sports, I feel great using these as movement preparations before working out and I also have them in as main work too so I can really overload it a bit.

Quick recap from static monsters

Weighed in at 89.1kg

All time best is 115. Gave 120 a pop, missed the first rep, went dizzy like usual, got angry with myself and managed to get it on a 2nd try.

Deadlift

Highest I've gone in training is 325. Things just felt great, opened on 310, went to 340, then 360. Feel like I had another 20kg in me but no more attempts left.

Total of 480kg 💪
