Race days are always amazing.
Despite not running fast runs in practice, the speed is still there. The Zone 2 running does seem to be coming along well given that the average HR was just 158 despite not much sleep and rest the day before.

Grateful for the opportunity to run in the recent half marathon organized by , despite some unexpected twists along the way. While the lack of markings and a small detour tested my resolve, it was a reminder of the dedication of volunteers who make these events possible.

Despite the challenges, the freedom from crowded paths made for a refreshing run, allowing me to maintain my usual lifting routine throughout the week. It's a reminder that every race, casual or not, brings its own lessons and joys.

For those chasing personal records, consider the benefits of smaller, regional races where navigating through the crowd is less of a concern. Keep pushing, stay positive, and embrace the unexpected on your fitness journey!
